According to foreign media AnandTech's report, the M1 chip is a sign of Apple's advancement to the desktop, workstation, and potential enterprise markets. This may affect the relationship between Apple and AMD, especially Apple may decide to adopt its own graphics solution.
Su Zifeng said that from AMD's point of view, there are still innovations in the PC field. On the PC platform, we will have more choices, a processor can be used in different environments. Su Zifeng said that in the next few years, I hope to see more specialized processors, which will also create more differences, but Apple will continue to cooperate with AMD as a graphics card partner.
Apple’s newly launched M1 chip MacBookAir, MacBookPro and Macmini are all core graphics cards. Mac devices that require a separate display have not been released. Combined with Su Zifeng’s response, we may still see Mac products using AMDGPU or AMDGPU technology on the market. .
